Meet Sam Guirguis, Founder

Sam Guirguis founded Wood Fence & Gate in El Segundo in 2006 with a straightforward idea: build custom wood fences and gates the right way, treat every client like a neighbor, and let the work speak for itself. Nearly two decades later, that approach has produced over 300 completed projects across the South Bay and a reputation that keeps clients coming back — and sending their friends.

Sam is present on every job. He estimates, he manages, and he walks every finished project before signing off. His crew — including craftsman Miguel, who's become a fixture of the team — brings the same care and precision to each build that Sam holds himself to.

When Sam isn't on a job site, he's in El Segundo — the same community he's been serving since he started.

How We Work

  • You Reach Out

    Contact us by phone, form, or text during business hours (Monday–Saturday, 7am–7pm). You'll hear back from Sam or his team within a few hours. We gather the basics — what you need, where you are, and when you're hoping to start.

  • Free On-Site Estimate

    We come to your property. Sam or a member of his team walks the space with you, takes measurements, assesses the terrain, and discusses your options. We don't price jobs we haven't seen.

  • Written Quote, Fast

    Within 24–48 hours of the site visit, you'll have a clear, itemized written estimate. Labor, materials, timeline — all spelled out. No ranges, no surprises.

  • Scheduled and Confirmed

    Once you approve the quote, we lock in your start date, handle permit research where needed, and order materials. You'll have a confirmed schedule and a direct contact throughout.

  • Installation & Final Walkthrough

    Our crew shows up on time, works clean, and builds to our standard. Sam walks the finished job with you before we leave. We don't close a project until you're satisfied.
